No. The SSL certificate is not included as part of Alighten's SSL security option. Alighten does include the SSL certificate because prices and providers vary in price and support. We want to ensure your client is getting the most "bang for the buck" for their web site needs. The SSL certificate can be purchases from any SSL provider. Usually, the SSL certificate is purchased through the web host. For example if your web host is GoDaddy it is most convenient to purchase your SSL certificate through GoDaddy as well. Alighten will walk you or your client through the process of obtaining the SSL certificate and then configure your client's content management system (CMS) to use the SSL security.
